This guide apply to upgrading from any edition, any version to the newest Jcow pro.

I'm running a Jcow site, if I make upgrading, will I lose my data?

No. The upgrading is easy and you will not lose your data.

Will my own modules/apps still work in new version?

Yes, they will be working (including add-on apps and apps that developed by yourself).

How can I get newest Jcow Pro?

From here you can order Jcow Pro. Once order completed, you can download your package from the "Client Area" in Jcow community. You also get free upgradings.

Upgrading steps

If you are runing Jcow 6 or higher version, any Editions, you can upgrade to newest by the following steps:
Step.1
Upload following folders(including sub-folders):

includes/
files/
modules/
themes/
js/
index.php
upgrade.php

Step.2
Excute the following URL on your web browser: (Replace YOUR_JCOW_URL with your own Jcow site URL)

http://YOUR_JCOW_URL/upgrade.php

Step.3
Login as admin. Go to "admin CP" -> "Modules", and click "Update modules".

Finished.
